About Brady Pattee
“Hey there! I'm Brady Pattee and my life’s been one wild ride. Raised in gorgeous Jackson Hole, Wyoming, I've always had an adventurous spirit. Growing up, my family had this cool routine of splitting our time between Wyoming and Virginia. It was like getting the best of both worlds – snowy adventures and historic charm.
At 12, I pulled a total Brady move and decided to skip 8thgrade (because, why not?) and headed to King’s Academy in Amman, Jordan. It was a whole new world – I was the only American in my grade and even picked up some Arabic along the way. It sounded crazy to everyone but me and that’s when I realized that I wasn’t going to live life like anyone else.
After a couple of years, I transferred to a school in the US on the East Coast. Sports has always been my thing, especially soccer and skiing. And once again, I was ready for a change. So, I chose Rhode Island where I could be close to the beach and even picked up surfing. That’s when I started to custom paint surfboards and skateboards, which then became B3 Boards.
I thought I wanted that “typical college life,” so I gave a Midwest liberal arts school a shot. While I am truly grateful to have met some of my absolute favorite people, I just knew it wasn’t where I was supposed to be. I needed to trust my intuition and pursue art.
I admit, I resisted this for a long time, but I finally accepted I wasn’t meant to fit in. I don’t think any of us are! Sometimes I felt too young or too old, too sporty or too artsy. But diving headfirst into art school has been a great move and I’m excited to see where this new chapter takes me.
When I met Sidney last winter, we just clicked right away. She’s all about embracing who you are and living life fearlessly. That's why I'm so drawn to her brand, Unbound Spirit Co. She just gets it. I’m proud of her drive to builda brand designed to remind you to tune out the noise, stay true to yourself, break free from expectations, and live life on your own terms. Hell yea!
If you’re like me then you’re a free spirit with a gypsy at heart and should be part of the Unbound Spirit family.”
